Katherine Garcia, a proud Bay Area native, holds a Bachelor's degree in Theater and Chicanx Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. With dedication to her community, Katherine spent over four years working as a Community School Site Director, advocating for the youth and families in her Bay Area community.

 

In the fall of 2022, Katherine joined the Democracy + Media Lab Team, taking on the role of program coordinator. In this capacity, she continues her commitment to promoting justice and social transformation.
