Hi, I am Jailene Cortes, a senior majoring in Political Science and minoring in Ethnic Studies. My project for the Democracy + Media Lab focuses on how communities in the Central Valley participate politically. Considering that the Central Valley is very dear to me, I found it essential to do my research on the topic. Some of my interests include community outreach and cooking.
