Born and raised in Vacaville California, Julianna studies at UC Berkeley. Earning her degree in Berkeley's Interdisciplinary Studies Field, her focus is on researching water inequality as a climate and racial issue in California and across the United States. Julianna joined the Democracy + Media Lab Team in the Spring of 2023. Ameliorating the social and racial discrepancies in our world through media is what Julianna is passionate about and focused on.
